Keurig Dr Pepper is reportedly close to acquiring Dutch coffee company JDE Peet's in a deal worth $18 billion. After the acquisition, the combined company plans to split into separate beverage and coffee units. JDE Peet's, valued at around $15 billion, is known for brands like L'Or and Douwe Egberts, while Keurig Dr Pepper, with a market value of nearly $50 billion, has over 125 brands. The companies have not commented on the report.
