Court orders NZ company director to pay $21,633 for bullying and dismissing apprentice unfairly.

John Gemmell, director of Warrior NZ Limited, has been ordered to pay $21,633 to former apprentice Nilesh Prasad for constructive dismissal and poor treatment, including bullying and unsafe working conditions. This follows previous ERA rulings where Gemmell was ordered to pay other employees but has refused to do so. The ERA found Gemmell liable for humiliation, lost wages, and holiday pay, among other compensation.
