Bicyclist critically injured in Kansas City hit-and-run left in stable condition; driver fled.

A bicyclist was critically injured and left in a critical but stable condition after a hit-and-run incident early Monday morning on Brooklyn Avenue near 29th Street in Kansas City. The cyclist, not wearing a helmet, was hit by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene. The police are currently investigating the incident.
