flag Supreme Court orders online re-inclusion for excluded Bihar voters, citing Aadhaar or other docs.

The Supreme Court has instructed the Election Commission of India to allow excluded voters in Bihar to file claims online for re-inclusion in the electoral roll, using either their Aadhaar card or one of 11 accepted documents. Around 65 lakh voters were excluded from the draft roll, and the Court expressed surprise at the lack of objections from political parties. The Election Commission has also been directed to publish the reasons for these exclusions and to make the process more accessible to the public.
