Arkansas State Police investigating fatal hit-and-run; pedestrian struck near Eureka Springs.

Arkansas State Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred early Saturday morning on Highway 187 near Nightingale Road, north of Eureka Springs. A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle, described as a newer model white Chevrolet pickup. Authorities are seeking information from anyone who was in the area around 2:45 a.m. and are urging the public to contact Troop L at (479) 751-6663.
