DHL Germany suspends most U.S. shipping due to new customs rules taking effect August 29.

DHL Parcel Germany has temporarily halted most of its shipping services to and from the U.S. due to new customs regulations. Packages valued up to $100 sent as gifts can still be shipped. The suspension follows new U.S. rules set to take effect on August 29, ending duty-free imports for goods under $800. Other European postal services have also suspended similar shipments to the U.S.
