Marcos Thomas Perez, a former Miami Heat security worker and retired Miami police officer, has pleaded guilty to stealing and selling over 400 game-worn jerseys and other memorabilia worth millions from the team's equipment room.
He sold more than 100 items, earning about $2 million, including a LeBron James jersey worn during the NBA Finals.
His sentencing, where he faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, is set for October 31.
