Country music legend Bill Anderson, 87, had to cancel his Grand Ole Opry performance and other appearances due to a "freak accident" that injured his left leg while climbing into bed.
Known as "Whisperin' Bill," Anderson is recovering well with ice packs and pain medication and thanked fans for their support.
He is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and has been with the Grand Ole Opry for over 64 years.
