Wisconsin offers special deer hunt on November 8-9 at Sandhill State Wildlife Area; applications due by Sept. 22.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is accepting applications until September 22 for a special deer hunt at Sandhill State Wildlife Area on November 8-9, 2025. Hunters will receive either-sex or antlerless-only permits and must follow special rules, including testing all harvested deer for Chronic Wasting Disease on-site.
