Ivory Coast's cocoa processing dropped by 31.2% in July compared to last year, falling to 39,301 metric tons. The decrease is due to poor bean quality and low volumes. Bean arrivals at the main ports of Abidjan and San Pedro were down 30%, reaching only 350,000 tons from April 1 to August 17. Grinders have run out of stocks and will need to rebuild them to resume normal processing rates.
