Tesla driver injured, charged after crashing into police car on I-88, violating Scott's Law.

A 24-year-old Tesla driver, Sebastian G. Rodriguez, was injured and charged with driving under the influence after crashing into an Illinois State Police squad car on I-88, also violating Scott's Law, which requires drivers to move over for emergency vehicles. The trooper in the squad car was also injured. This is the ninth such violation this year, with 12 troopers injured last year under similar circumstances.
