Former air force pilot Robert Crawford's bail breach charge was dismissed; murder charges remain.

Robert John Crawford, a 47-year-old former air force pilot accused of murdering his wife, Frances, and staging the death to look like an accident, had a bail breach charge dismissed. The charge stemmed from an accusation that he did not answer the door when police knocked at 1:55 am, but the court ruled that he was asleep and did not hear them. The murder charge will next be heard on October 8 at Ipswich Magistrates Court.
