A power plant near Yemen's capital, Sanaa, was reportedly hit by an unidentified attack, causing some generators to fail and a fire. Two explosions were heard earlier in the city. This comes amid ongoing conflicts involving Israel, the US, the UK, and the Iran-aligned Houthi group in Yemen. In May, the US struck a deal with the Houthis to halt bombing campaigns against them in exchange for stopping shipping attacks, excluding protection for Israel.
