Social Futures has launched a new aftercare service called "Care Connect" in Charlestown, New South Wales, aimed at reducing the region's high suicide rate. Funded for two years by the Hunter and Central Coast Primary Health Network, the service offers psychosocial support for 12 weeks to those who have attempted suicide or faced a suicidal crisis.
