WEF clears founders of misconduct, replaces chairman with BlackRock’s Fink and Roche’s Hoffmann.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) cleared its founder Klaus Schwab and his wife of misconduct following an investigation into whistleblower allegations of personal gain from the forum's resources. While "minor irregularities" were noted, they did not indicate intentional wrongdoing. The WEF board has replaced interim chairman Peter Brabeck-Letmathe with BlackRock CEO Larry Fink and Roche Holding's vice-chair Andre Hoffmann as interim co-chairs. The WEF also plans to enhance its governance procedures.
