India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will visit Nepal on August 17 for a two-day trip aimed at enhancing bilateral ties, focusing on connectivity and development cooperation. The visit, at the invitation of Nepal's Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, is part of regular high-level exchanges and will prepare for an anticipated visit by Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to India in September. Misri will meet senior Nepalese officials to discuss mutual interests and strengthen India's "Neighborhood First" policy.
