Nike co-founder Phil Knight and his wife Penny donated $2 billion to Oregon Health & Science University's Knight Cancer Institute, marking the largest gift to a U.S. educational institution. The donation will expand cancer care, including patient support services like nutritional, psychological, and financial counseling. The funds will also help the Knight Cancer Institute become a self-governed entity within OHSU.
