A federal appeals court has allowed a discrimination lawsuit by former NFL coach Brian Flores to proceed to trial. Flores, who accuses the NFL and three teams—the Denver Broncos, New York Giants, and Houston Texans—of discriminating against Black coaches, can now bypass arbitration with Commissioner Roger Goodell. The court ruled that the NFL's arbitration rules violate the Federal Arbitration Act. The NFL plans to seek further review of the decision.
