Fayetteville police seek armed robbery suspect who fled after threatening business employee.

Fayetteville police are searching for an armed robbery suspect who fled after demanding money from an employee at a North Mall Avenue business on Thursday evening. The suspect, a black male around 5'6" with a stocky build, was wearing black shorts, a white tank top, and white shoes, and may be carrying an olive green backpack. Police caution the public not to approach him and ask anyone with information to contact Fayetteville police.
