Hundreds of thousands of students in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland will receive their A-level, AS, and vocational technical qualifications results on Thursday. In 2023, 27.8% of A-level entries received A or A* grades, the highest rate since before the pandemic. GCSEs and A-levels returned to pre-pandemic grading in 2023 in England, while Scotland saw earlier results releases.
