A new study in Sweden involving 148,581 people with ADHD found that ADHD medication reduces the risk of suicide, drug abuse, transport accidents, and criminal behavior. The research, published in the BMJ, used a method that mimics a clinical trial and shows broader benefits of ADHD treatment beyond symptom management. However, further studies are needed to confirm these findings.
