Lebanon's president tells Iran no armed groups allowed, amid plan to disarm Hezbollah.

Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun has told Iran's top security official, Ali Larijani, that no armed groups are permitted in Lebanon and that the country will not accept foreign interference. This comes after Lebanon's cabinet approved a US-backed plan to disarm the Iran-aligned Hezbollah group. Larijani stated that Iran supports Lebanon's sovereignty and does not interfere in its decision-making. Hezbollah opposes the disarmament plan, arguing it leaves Lebanon vulnerable.
