Eli Lilly raises Mounjaro prices in the UK, but NHS agreement ensures continued patient access.

Eli Lilly announced a significant price increase for Mounjaro, a weight loss and diabetes treatment, in the UK starting September 1. The cost for a 5mg dose will rise from £92 to £180, and a 15mg dose will increase from £122 to £330. Despite the hike, Eli Lilly has agreed with the NHS to ensure continued supply and patient access. The UK government has also partnered with Eli Lilly in an £85 million program to improve weight management care access through various services.
