Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty and her husband face fraud charges over $8.3 million alleged misuse.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra have been charged by the Mumbai Economic Offences Wing for allegedly defrauding businessman Deepak Kothari of Rs 60.48 crore ($8.3 million). Kothari claims the funds, provided between 2015 and 2023 for business expansion, were used for personal expenses instead. The case was transferred to the EOW due to the large sum involved.
