PM Modi to inaugurate Bengaluru's Yellow Line metro and launch three trains on August 10.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Bengaluru's Yellow Line metro, a 19.15 km corridor with 16 stations, increasing the city's metro network to over 96 km. The project, costing Rs 7,160 crore, aims to ease congestion in South Bengaluru. Modi will also lay the foundation for the Phase-3 project, known as the Orange Line, spanning 44.65 km with 31 stations, valued at Rs 15,611 crore. Additionally, he will flag off three Vande Bharat Express trains improving regional connectivity. Traffic restrictions will be in place on August 10 due to Modi's visit.
