Four astronauts returned to Earth after a five-month mission at the International Space Station, landing in the Pacific Ocean off Southern California. They replaced two NASA astronauts stuck at the ISS due to Boeing Starliner malfunctions. This was SpaceX's third Pacific splashdown with a crew and the first for NASA in 50 years. SpaceX changed the landing site from Florida to California to reduce debris risk in populated areas.
