Bangladesh introduces new Tk100 note with advanced security features to combat counterfeiting.

Bangladesh Bank will release a new Tk100 banknote on August 12, featuring 10 security measures to prevent counterfeiting. The note includes color-shifting ink, a security thread, and a glossy coating for durability. It will be issued first from the Motijheel branch and then distributed nationwide. Both new and old Tk100 notes will remain legal tender, aiming to strengthen trust in cash transactions.
