India and Oman are close to finalizing their free trade agreement (FTA), with the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) expected to be announced soon. The trade pact's text is being translated into Arabic, and after approval by both countries' cabinets, it aims to reduce customs duties, ease trade norms, and boost investments. Bilateral trade between the two nations was over $10 billion in 2024-25.
