Erin Patterson, 50, failed in her bid to keep pre-trial evidence secret after her conviction for serving a lethal mushroom meal, killing three and attempting to poison another. Judge Christopher Beale ruled in favor of open justice, allowing the media to report on the evidence. Patterson will have 28 days to appeal after sentencing.
