A man threatened police with a knife at a New Zealand station before being tasered and arrested.

A 49-year-old man was arrested after threatening police staff with a knife at the Masterton Police Station in New Zealand. The incident caused the station to be locked down, but no officers were injured. After attempts to communicate with the man failed, he was tasered and taken into custody outside the station. The police station has since reopened to the public.
