A knife-wielding man was tasered and arrested outside a New Zealand police station after it locked down.

A 49-year-old man was arrested after presenting a knife to a police station staff member in Masterton, New Zealand. The police station went into lockdown, and officers attempted to communicate with the threatening man. The incident moved outside, where he was tasered and arrested without any injuries to police staff. The station has since reopened to the public.
