Between August 2021 and August 2023, 55% of total daily calories came from ultra-processed foods, with children consuming nearly 62%.
The top sources include burgers, sandwiches, sweet baked goods, savory snacks, pizza, and sweetened drinks.
Consumption has slightly decreased over the past decade, with adults' intake falling from 56% in 2013-2014 to 53%.
