The fire has injured at least three people and threatens hundreds of homes, with over 1,000 firefighters battling hot, dry conditions and erratic winds to contain it before sundowner winds intensify. The fire grew from at least four smaller blazes that erupted on Friday along State Route 166. Causes are under investigation.
