Man arrested in Tennessee after threatening officials and attempting to detonate 14 IEDs.

A 54-year-old man in Old Fort, Tennessee, was arrested after threatening to kill public officials and attempting to detonate 14 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) when officers arrived to arrest him. The Chattanooga Police Department Bomb Squad and ATF responded to the scene. He faces 11 counts of attempted first-degree murder and charges related to prohibited weapons and explosives. The suspect is being held at Polk County Jail.
