The San Francisco Giants snapped a six-game losing streak with a 4-3 victory over the New York Mets in 10 innings. Dominic Smith's RBI single in the 10th inning secured the win for the Giants. The Mets had taken a 3-0 lead but couldn't hold it, and despite loading the bases in the bottom of the 10th, they fell short. Robbie Ray pitched seven strong innings for the Giants, allowing only one run. The win moved the Giants into second place in the National League West and pushed the Mets out of first place in the National League East.
