India launches free 3D animation and VFX training for youth in Northeastern states, aiming to boost employment.
The National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) launched a free, eight-month residential training program in 3D Animation and VFX for youth from the Northeastern states.
Open to residents of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura, the course requires applicants to be at least 18 years old and have completed 10+2 or have three years of relevant experience.
The registration fee is Rs 1,180, and the application deadline is August 15.
Selected candidates will receive a laptop and have free accommodation and meals in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, with training provided by Aptech Limited.
The program aims to empower local youth with digital media skills, leading to employment opportunities.
