In Ghana, 58 out of 64 radio stations threatened with closure for regulatory issues have started the process to regularize their operations after receiving a 30-day amnesty from President John Dramani Mahama.
The amnesty allowed these stations to resolve issues with the National Communications Authority.
The move is part of a broader effort to ensure lawful use of the broadcast spectrum, with 210 stations still needing to comply.
