Yellowstone National Park is battling the Ash Fire, a 10-acre wildfire likely caused by lightning in the southwest Bechler area. Around 25 firefighters, including smokejumpers and helicopter crews, are working to contain the fire. Trail and backcountry campsite closures are in effect due to the high fire danger, which has seen over 350 lightning strikes in the past 24 hours.
