Texarkana issues boil water notice for parts west of Summerhill Road after a main break.

Texarkana Water Utilities has issued a boil water notice for an area west of Summerhill Road and north of Kennedy Lane, including Texas High School and TISD offices, due to a broken main. Affected residents must boil tap water for two minutes before use. The notice particularly concerns children, seniors, and those with weakened immune systems. Customers will be notified when the notice is lifted.
