Off-duty officer seriously injured in hit-and-run while cycling; police appeal for witnesses.

An off-duty 61-year-old police officer was seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident while cycling to work in Seaford, Victoria, on July 31, 2025. The collision occurred around 6 a.m. on Nepean Highway. Authorities have released footage of a white ute they believe was involved and are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
