Judge to decide if pro-Palestinian group's ban under UK anti-terror laws is lawful.

A High Court judge in London will decide if Huda Ammori, co-founder of the pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action, can legally challenge the UK government's decision to ban the group under anti-terror laws. The ban makes membership or support for the group a criminal offense with up to 14 years in prison. The group was banned after claiming responsibility for damaging two planes at RAF Brize Norton. Ammori's lawyers argue the ban is an unlawful interference with freedom of expression, while the UK Home Office maintains the group’s actions justify the proscription under terrorism laws.
