Stellantis reports a €2.3 billion first-half loss, hit by tariffs, but CEO forecasts a second-half rebound.

Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, Dodge, Fiat, Chrysler, and Peugeot, reported a first-half net loss of €2.3 billion, compared to a €5.6 billion profit in 2024. The company faced a €1.5 billion tariff hit and a 13% drop in revenue. Despite the losses, CEO Antonio Filosa is optimistic about a rebound in the second half, predicting increased revenues and low-single-digit operating profit margins. Stellantis plans to reintroduce models like pickup trucks and muscle cars and cut unprofitable programs to improve results.
