Bajaj Auto, a major electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer in India, may halt production of its electric scooters and three-wheelers in August due to a shortage of rare earth magnets, exacerbated by China's export restrictions. The company has already cut production by half this month. Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj has urged the government for clearer policies and faster incentives to support the EV industry.
