"Five Nights at Freddy's 2," a horror sequel releasing December 5, 2025, features Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, and Piper Rubio returning to face animatronic terrors. Set a year after the first film, the story follows protagonist Mike, police officer Vanessa, and Mike's sister Abby as they uncover dark secrets about Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Directed by Emma Tammi and written by game creator Scott Cawthon, the film introduces new characters and explores upgraded animatronic threats beyond the pizza parlor.
