Birmingham resident Frederick Leonard Temple Jr., known as "Cutthroat," was sentenced to 36 years in federal prison for a series of drug and gun offenses.
The charges included possession of a machine gun, distributing fentanyl, and possessing methamphetamine and fentanyl with intent to distribute.
A search at his home turned up 14 firearms, one with a machine gun conversion device, and various drugs and drug paraphernalia.
