Uber is launching a feature called "Women Preferences" in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Detroit, allowing women riders to request female drivers and women drivers to choose female riders. This tool aims to boost safety and comfort, following successful launches in 40 countries since 2019. The feature, available on-demand or for pre-booked trips, gives women more control over their rides but does not guarantee matches.
