Danny O'Donoghue pleaded guilty to dangerous driving that killed his niece and other charges.

Danny O'Donoghue, a 42-year-old from Limerick, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving that caused the death of his 21-year-old niece, Marguerita O'Rourke, on December 21, 2024. O'Donoghue admitted to additional charges of producing a machete and causing criminal damage to property on the same day. He appeared in Limerick Circuit Criminal Court via video link from Portlaoise Prison and is scheduled for sentencing on October 29.
