Small auto businesses in Ontario face a 13% revenue drop due to the Canada-U.S. trade war, CFIB reports.
The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) reports that small auto businesses in Ontario are struggling with a 13% average revenue decline and half have paused or canceled investments due to the Canada-U.S. trade war.
CFIB argues that current government support programs, aimed at R&D and large-scale manufacturing, do not adequately assist smaller businesses.
They recommend lowering the small business tax rate from 3.2% to 2%.
