HDFC Bank considers first-ever bonus shares and special dividend amid rising profits.

HDFC Bank, India's largest private sector bank, will consider issuing bonus shares and declaring a special dividend at its July 19 board meeting. This would be HDFC Bank's first-ever bonus share issue. The bank's net profit for FY25 rose 10.7%, and its shares have seen a year-to-date gain of 11.94%. The bank aims to grow its loan book in line with the banking system in FY26 and outpace it in FY27.
