Air India to resume partial international flights Aug 1 after June crash and safety checks.

After a deadly crash in June, Air India plans to partially restore its international flights starting August 1, 2025. The airline will reduce the frequency of some routes and move its Ahmedabad-London service from Gatwick to Heathrow. This decision follows a "safety pause" for precautionary checks on its Boeing 787 fleet and to adapt to airspace closures. Full service restoration is scheduled for October 1.
